As expected, Ohio Democrats have filed an emergency request for relief in the Golden Week case.

I’ve predicted the stay will be denied. I’m guessing there will be at most 2 noted dissents (Sotomayor and Ginsburg).

But I thought the NC order would be 8-0 or 6-2 and it was 4-4, so we’ll see.

If I’m wrong and the Court grants the stay Marc Elias will never let me hear the end of it (and rightfully so).
