“Group to sue for purge of the rolls; Tens of thousands of errors alleged in voter registration”

The latest from Ohio: “The battle over Ohio’s electoral integrity is intensifying, with groups linked to restrictive voting efforts across the nation planning to sue the state over what it alleges are tens of thousands of “problem” names on voter registration rolls. In the courts, at local boards of elections and in increasingly acrimonious public rhetoric, Ohio is more than living up to its reputation as a battleground state in this fall’s presidential election, particularly in regard to the voting procedures that will govern how that race is contested. At a sometimes-contentious meeting Saturday at a suburban Columbus hotel, more than 100 people attended a summit hosted by a Texas-based group called True the Vote at which an allied organization, Judicial Watch, announced plans to sue Ohio this week over the purported improper registrations.”

Another snippet: “The ‘election integrity summit’ saw several attendees – not members of any of the groups, but rather people monitoring the activities – shouted down whenever they asked questions framed around a contrary point of view.”
