“AALS Section on Election Law opportunities for submissions”

Michael Morley:

Hello,

I hope the new school year is off to a great start for everyone. I look forward to seeing you all, albeit virtually, at the 2022 AALS Annual Meeting, which will be held via Zoom in January. A few quick notes:

1. Works-in-Progress Submissions – If you are interested in submitting an unpublished draft for consideration to present at our works-in-progress session during the Annual Meeting, please e-mail a copy to [email protected] by Monday, October 11 at 5:00 P.M. Eastern. Please use the subject line “Work-in-progress submission.”

2. Annual Award Submissions – We are also soliciting submissions for the Election Law Section’s annual scholarship award. The award is given to a single work that exemplifies excellence in the field. The term “work” is defined broadly, but it must have been published (or will be published) during calendar year 2021. If you have a submission, please e-mail a copy to [email protected] by Friday, October 15 at 5:00 P.M. Eastern. Please use the subject line “Annual Award submission.”

3. Annual Meeting – I will send an update as the Annual Meeting approaches with details about the various events our Section will be hosting.

Thank you very much! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or I can ever be of help with anything. Have a great week,

Michael
