Sen. McConnell Does Not See Any Evidence of Widespread Voter Fraud

File this in the better late than never department:

SSenate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Friday that voter fraud should be dealt with at the state level and that he doesn’t see “any evidence” that millions of people illegally voted in the 2016 presidential election, as President Trump has claimed.

“I don’t believe the federal government needs to look at this,” said McConnell in an interview with National Journal in his office at the Capitol. “Our whole election system is state-based. There are a number of states who have been concerned about ballot security that have done something about it.”
