A Tale of Two Emergency Voting Petitions: WI and NC

The ACLU plaintiffs got their en banc petition in the 7th Circuit filed in one day.

The state of North Carolina has waited 13 days so far (and counting) before filing an emergency voting petition in the Supreme Court, this after the governor promised it would be filed early this week.

The people of North Carolina are prejudiced the longer this drags out, and there is uncertainty about what the rules for voting will be.
