Panel on Winning the Presidency

    Using the Courts to Win the Presidency: Learning from 2004 and Planning for 2008

    Prior to the 2004 presidential election, candidates, political parties and not-for-profit groups went to court in several swing states to affect the laws and procedures as to who could vote, how the election would be administered and how votes would be counted. In this program, we will explore the lessons of the key cases in the Kerry-Bush race and what they portend for the next presidential election.
