“Judge suspends voter identification law for absentee voting”

AP offers this report, which begins: “COLUMBUS, Ohio — A federal judge on Thursday suspended Ohio’s new voter identification law as it applies to absentee voting, saying the state’s 88 counties are inconsistently applying the rule in the voting that is currently under way.” More information should be coming to the Moritz election law page. UPDATE: Ned Foley has some very interesting observations and links to the order here and here.
