In this National Journal article ($) on voter identification laws, Thor Hearne, counsel for the American Center for Voting Rights, is quoted as saying: “You do have illegal aliens voting and, in some cases, deciding elections.” I would like to hear if there is any evidence to back up the charge that illegal alien votes have determined the outcome of elections. The only instance I can think of off the top of my head involving this issue was the Dornan-Sanchez challenge that went to the House, and I believe the House rejected Dornan’s claim that illegal alien votes cost him the election.
