“Ohio Abandons Two-Year Battle Over Voter Disenfranchisement”

Jenner and Block has posted this press release, which begins: “The state of Ohio this week abandoned a two-year-long defense of efforts to disenfranchise 35,000 registered voters in the days leading up to the 2004 presidential election. In a victory for several Jenner & Block pro bono clients, a federal appeals court agreed to dismiss the lawsuit after Ohio conceded that it could no longer defend the 2004 actions.”
