Since I wrote my piece I learned that ACLU lawyer Karyn Rotker closed her argument in the Wisconsin voter id case I wrote about with: “In-person voter impersonation fraud, the only kind of fraud photo ID might prevent, is no more than a ghost story, never seen but designed to terrify those who listen.”
