2006 Supplement to Election Law—Cases and Materials Now Available

The 2006 Supplement to Lowenstein and Hasen, Election Law–Cases and Materials (3rd ed. 2004), is now available for download at this link:

The Supplement is up-to-date, and includes discussion of the renewal of the Voting Rights Act (signed by President Bush today), as well as two new cases in chief, LULAC v. Perry (the Supreme Court’s recent Texas redistricting case) and Randall v. Sorrell (the Supreme Court’s new Vermont campaign finance case).
The cover of the Supplement reads: “Permission is hereby granted to instructors assigning the Lowenstein & Hasen casebook to distribute this Supplement free of charge to students who have purchased the casebook. All other redistribution is prohibited without the permission of the authors.”
