Here is the order enjoining Georgia from enforcing its voter i.d. law in the upcoming primary on grounds it violates the right to vote guaranteed in the Georgia Constitution. The state is appealing this ruling to the Georgia Supreme Court. In the meantime, a federal court will hear arguments this week over whether the new law violates the federal Constitution and/or section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
