“Gov. Pat McCrory: Why I signed the Voter ID/election reform bill” and Why the Governor is Wrong

He calls the voter id requirement “non-burdensome.”

For most people that’s true, but not for all. And put the other parts of the law together, and there is a large burden on some voters and at least a small burden on many voters.

As far as “how would we know” if in-person voter impersonation fraud is a big problem, we know it is not.  Believe me, we know.

Today’s an auspicious day for the paperback release of The Voting Wars.  I advise the governor to read Chapter 2, the Fraudulent Fraud Squad.
