Stewart Baker Says Obama Campaign Violated Computer Fraud and Abuse Act in 2012 Campaign

and he further suggests that this is how the President won re-election.

I’ll let others weigh in on the alleged CFAA violation, something I know absolutely nothing about.

But I’m quite dubious that alleged violations of Facebook’s terms of service was responsible for electoral college (or for that matter 5-million popular vote) victory.  I am even more dubious of Baker’s unsupported suggestion that “Perhaps the campaign, or some official in the administration, checked quietly with Justice and got an assurance that its prosecutors would not inconvenience the campaign.”
