My own view of Husted is more complex—and I certainly would not  call him a “new bad boy” or compare him to hard-core partisans, including his two Ohio Secretary of State predecessors, Ken Blackwell (R) and Jennifer Brunner (D).  (I discuss the actions of both in Chapter 4 of The Voting Wars).
