It begins: “A coalition of voter advocates, led by the League of Women Voters of Ohio, today plans to file what it calls a “historic, nonpartisan lawsuit” compelling the state to fix its system of elections. The lawsuit, to be filed in federal court in Toledo, alleges that Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell, Gov. Bob Taft and their predecessors failed to ensure the right to vote in Ohio.”
