The Los Angeles Times offers this editorial, which calls on Congress to “set basic certification and oversight procedures” for electronic voting. The Times does not seem to be aware of the existence of the Election Assistance Commission, created after the Florida 2000 debacle in the Help America Vote Act of 2002.
