FEC Commissioner Petersen has written this oped in The Hill. In light of my own criticisms of the FEC, I would have liked to see the Commissioner defend his going much farther than the Supreme Court or Congress in reading disclosure requirements for electioneering communications. In my view this is the most indefensible stance of these Commissioners.
