Party Fragmentation in the UK

As Elon Musk announces his effort to form a new party here, it’s worth noting that even in the UK, the home of the first-past-the-post electoral system, we are seeing the traditionally dominant two major parties losing support to new insurgent parties. The Reform Party of Nigel Farage now consistently polls as the most popular party in the UK. Meanwhile, the Corbynite left of the Labour Party is leaving Labour and forming a new party, though it remains to be seen how many Labour MPs will bolt for this new party beyond Corbyn and Zarah Sultana.
