This is the first polling data I’ve seen on this. As reported in Politico Playbook. Full data from the survey is at this link. Note this survey was sponsored by Fair Vote and Common Cause NY, both of which support RCV. Some of the results:

96% said filling out their RCV ballot was simple

76% said they want to keep or expand RCV in NYC

81% said they understand RCV very or extremely well (16% say ‘somewhat well’ and 3% say ‘not at all well’) 

82% said they ranked 2+ candidates for mayor
