“Citizens United Foes Seek a McCain Stand-In”

Will John McCain support a filibuster of the Schumer-van Hollen bill to impose some new corporate restrictions after Citizens United? Roll Call asks the question. It also asks, if not Sen. McCain supporting a vote on the bill, then which Republican might do so?
As a start, here is a list of the 11 Republicans who voted for final passage of McCain-Feingold: “Lincoln Chafee, Thad Cochran, Susan Collins, Pete Domenici, Peter Fitzgerald, Richard Lugar, John McCain, Olympia Snowe, Arlen Specter, Fred Thompson, John Warner.”
Who’s left from that list in the Senate, still a Republican (so not Specter) and not McCain? Cochran, Collins, Lugar, Snowe. I think that’s the universe of likely potential Republican supporters in the Senate. I can’t think of any new Republican Senators likely to support the bill, except perhaps Brown of Mass.
