Politico says yes, but I remain skeptical that anything will pass this year, for a number of reasons—not the least of which is Sen. McCain’s re-election issues, which are pushing him to the right and perhaps against supporting the kind of campaign finance regulation that he’s supported in the past.
And what ever happened to election administration reform? I remember all the promises I heard from Hill staffers and others as to how this was going to be a priority. Glad I didn’t hold my breath.
