Electionline picked up this disturbing story about election denialism in Montana. We’ve all read a lot of similar stories over the last few years, but this one is current and particularly striking in the details of the town meeting where debunked claims about the 2020 election being stolen continue to be fervently pressed. One citizen was shouted down by others for pointing out that Fox News had settled (for a huge sum) its defamation lawsuit with Dominion because of the known falsity of those claims. “Many in the audience disputed that Fox was held liable for defamation, shouting that there was no settlement.”
