Georgia SOS Brad Raffensperger in WSJ Oped Accuses Sen. Warnock of Being an Election Denier Because Warnock Has Accused Georgia of Voter Suppression

This was disappointing to see, whether or not one believes Sen. Warnock has overstated the extent to which Georgia’s laws make it harder for people to register or vote. The term “election denialism” should be reserved for those people who reject the outcome of a free and fair election. This kind of muddying makes it harder to build cross-partisan coalitions to ensure free and fair elections.

Update: As someone pointed out to me, the headline “Rafael Warnock, Election Denier” was likely written by the WSJ staff, not Raffensperger. The term does not appear in the oped itself.
