President Zelensky Takes Questions for 1+ Hours From Journalists, CEOs

This week, I was honored to be part once again of the annual CEO Summit run by Jeff Sonnenfeld, senior associate dean for leadership studies at the Yale School of Management. The Summit brings together major corporate leaders, former high-ranking government officials, mayors, and others for an all-day private discussion about current economic and geo-political affairs. This week’s meeting was extraordinary, because President Zelensky appeared for close to an hour and a half in an unscripted, free-flowing, interactive discussion (I’m not sure Zelensky has done this in any other context). Zelensky undoubtedly did this because Jeff Sonnenfeld has played the leading effort in persuading and pressuring American companies to leave Russia. As for the connection to ELB, we did talk (after Zelensky left) about the Jan. 6th hearings and the need for business leaders to convey to Congress the importance of updating the Electoral Count Act.
