Following up on this post, it sounds like things are at an earlier stage than I thought after listening to the presentation at ACS. It appears that Schumer’s office is not working with the Brennan Center on drafting the legislation, as my last post implied, but getting input from a variety of sources. And it doesn’t appear that anyone is ready to share any draft legislation yet. So this sounds like it will be on the back burner for at least a little longer.
