A blog reader sends along the following question:
- If Kerry were spend money raised prior to the convention on advertising that would run after the convention, would that violate the spending cap?
I notice that Bush Cheney has already purchased Olympics spots, which will run in August between the conventions.
Could the Kerry camp do the same with pre-nomination raised funds?
Could they do the same with other campaign expenditures? Like salaries, fuel contracts for his plane, signage contracts, rent and other media buys?
