“The Case for Reforming the Electoral Count Act”

The National Constitution Center, as part of its “We the People Podcast” hosted this discussion moderated by Jeff Rosen, NCC president, with Brad Smith and me. The discussion built on the Washington Post op-ed that Brad and I co-wrote with Rick Pildes and Michael McConnell. Given the questions that Jeff asked, and the way in which Brad and I answered them, explaining why from our different perspectives we agree on certain key points concerning ECA reform, I thought it was a particularly constructive conversation. I hope that it can serve as something of a basis for bipartisan discussions in Congress on this topic.
