Our electoral institutions survived that test, but the fragility of our democracy was exposed. With national polls showing that a third of all Americans and two-thirds of Republicans believe that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected, how do we restore trust in the voting process? Do we need fundamental changes in how we conduct our elections and count our votes?
