Nevada Senate Maj. Leader Kelvin Atkinson resigned yesterday, “announcing he would be pleading guilty to federal charges of misappropriation of campaign funds for personal use and taking ‘full responsibility’ for his actions.”  The resignation letter is here.  There aren’t a lot of other public details that I’m aware of about the basis for the federal charges.
