The Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network has released this report, entitled “America Goes to the Polls.” Among its findings are that “an unprecendented 58.7 million voters — more than one in four of all eligible voters — participated in a primary or caucus,” exceeding the previous record of 35 million set in 1988.
