A Half Vote for the Michigan and Florida Delegates

The NY Times has this report on the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee decision yesterday to seat the Michigan and Florida delegates with a half-vote each. The WaPo, LA Times, Detroit Free Press, CQ Politics, AP, Reuters, Bloomberg, and Politico also have stories on yesterday’s meeting. MSNBC’s First Read has this post on the “new math” on delegates after yesterday’s decision, under which Senator Obama is 62.5 delegates away from a majority of the 2118 now needed.
The fight over Michigan and Florida may not be over. Clinton Senior Adviser Harold Ickes says, “Mrs. Clinton has instructed me to reserve her rights to take this to the Credentials Committee.”
