Truth is Stranger than Fiction Dep’t

Truth is stranger than an April Fool’s joke.

Amie Hoeber is running to represent Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District in the House of Representatives:

Amie is a graduate of Stanford University and resides in Potomac, Maryland with Mark Epstein, a senior executive of Qualcomm. They are members of the B’nai Tzedek synagogue. She has one son, two stepsons, and four grandchildren.

Mr. Epstein also was the custodian of records of her campaign committee until, apparently, they realized that would be a problem:

He’s also the sole contributor (of $300,000) to the Maryland USA Super PAC:

Shockingly, the Maryland USA Super PAC has spent over $200,000 on independent expenditures supporting . . . . Amie Hoeber:

Coordination – it’s not just for presidential races anymore.
