Following on from its handbook on Political Finance, International IDEA has now released a policy brief on money in politics (www.idea.int/mip) with nine key recommendations for policy makers and other relevant stakeholders. Drawn from the findings of International IDEA’s research, this policy brief aims to influence the debate in a way that leads both to a reduction in the absolute amount of money in election campaigns, as well as making the role of money in politics more transparent and better regulated.
