Statement from AZ Clean Elections Commission:

On December 5, 2014, Judge James Teilborg released his most recent order in the case Galassini v. Fountain Hills. The scope of that order and its effect remain subject to further litigation. The State has filed a request for a stay pending appeal. It is clear that it has no effect on provisions of the Clean Elections Act and Rules that apply to
candidates and other persons who participate financially in state and legislative candidate elections.

Although the conclusion of the 2014 elections means that state and legislative candidate and others participating financially in state and legislative races may not have imminent filing deadlines, we strongly recommend that candidates and other persons who participate financially in state and legislative candidate elections continue to make filings as required by law, subject to enforcement under the Clean Elections Act and Rules. As always please contact the Clean Elections staff if you have any questions.
