Ordinarily I’d be chomping at the bit to comment on the San Diego mayoral recall campaign. There are some meaty legal (and political) issues.

However, given that I testified just last month before the City of San Diego on their campaign finance laws, and consulted with the City recently on those laws, I don’t think it is appropriate for me to weigh in on the blog or to the media with legal opinions on these issues.

I’ll still link to stories on the recall, but I plan on refraining from my own commentary on the recall.
