On Wednesday, April 18, Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Tom Udall (D-NM) will join Representatives Ted Deutch (FL-19), Donna F. Edwards (MD-4), Keith Ellison (MN-5), and Jim McGovern (MA-3) to host a Congressional Summit on Overturning Citizens United.  As sponsors of various constitutional remedies to Citizens United, the Senators and Representatives are uniting behind initiatives that reflect their shared commitment to getting money out of politics and complement the grassroots movement taking root nationwide. The Members will be joined by local government officials, activists from across the country, and advocacy groups, including Public Citizen, People for the American Way, the Center for Media and Democracy, Common Cause, Communication Workers of America, Move To Amend, American Sustainable Business Council, and Free Speech for People.
