Oregon adopted campaign contribution limits in March 2024, and gave themselves a cushion until 2027 for implementation.  Earlier this week, after the Secretary of State said he needed more time, there was a last-minute amendment to a bill that proposed further delay until 2031.  A hue and cry followed.  And now, per the Oregon Capital Chronicle, it looks like the legislature has backed down, with implementation back on schedule for 2027.
