Another Narrow Ruling on NVRA’s Disclosure Provision

Yesterday I explained why, at least on first look, True the Vote’s attempt to gain access to the poll books under the NVRA looks weak.

Today a reader passes along this 2009 decision from a federal district court from the Southern District of Texas. It does not speak to whether poll books are the types of records. But it does read the NVRA’s public disclosure provisions narrowly.  Again, it does not support TTV’s position.
