Bloomberg BNA: “The treatment of contributions to organizations exempt from tax under tax code Section 501(c)(4) is complicated by the Internal Revenue Service’s lack of enforcement of its policy on the contributions and the possible exemption of contributions that are made for advocacy-related purposes, according to a Congressional Research Service report released Aug. 13.”
