Bloomberg BNA: “The Hispanic Leadership Fund, a Republican-leaning organization challenging Federal Election Commission disclosure requirements for political ads, has filed its case in the federal district court in Alexandria, Va., and called for an Aug. 17 court hearing (Hispanic Leadership Fund v. FEC, E.D. Va., Civil No. 12-893, filed 8/10/12). The organization is seeking a preliminary injunction to block disclosure of donors whose money is used for ‘electioneering communications’—television or radio ads in the final weeks before an election that refer to a candidate.”
