Warren Rudman and Chuck Hagel have written this op-ed for the NY Times “Campaign Stops” blog. I guess only retired Republican U.S. Senators will be coming out in favor of reasonable campaign finance disclosure.

Senator McCain said he did not support the DISCLOSE Act because it favors unions.  If that’s really is concern, I’d love to see him draft and move his own disclosure bill, which I would guess would get tremendous Democratic support.
