PORTLAND, OR – February 28, 2012 – Habitat Media (Empty Oceans Empty Nets and Farming the Seas) announced today the national television premiere of its latest film, PRICELE$$, on PBS stations nationwide beginning April 2012 (check local listings).  As we approach the most expensive election in U.S. history, in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, filmmakers Steve Cowan and Cameron Harrison have released a documentary that takes an unsettling, and at times hilarious look at two national policies – farm and energy – shaped by a tsunami of special interest campaign money. The film also examines a possible way out of what has been called the “campaign money circus that our leaders are caught in.”

Over the past year, PRICELE$$ has been recognized by a number of top film festivals including: Independent Film Festival (Washington D.C.), Columbus International Film Festival and the United Nations Association Film Festival….
