RNC Members Question Proposed Changes to 2012 Primary Schedule

The WaPo reports here that some RNC members have doubts about a proposal "designed to make it difficult for a candidate to rack up an insurmountable number of delegates early in the process." Among the reported concerns are that the proposal won't give enough weight to some large states and that a longer primary process will deflect attention from President Obama at a time when the party will want to focus on the "mismanagement" of his administration.
