"Donation Limits May Recuse Judges"

The Los Angeles Daily Journal offers this report ($), which begins: "The Judicial Council Friday put a limit on how much judges or justices may receive in individual campaign contributions from a party before they are automatically disqualified from a case."

This press release explains that these are recommendations, subject to the approval of the California Supreme Court.
