I'm Glad I'm Not in Ned Foley's Election Law Class!

A nine page (excerpted!) nightmare post Bush v. Gore hypothetical for the final exam. I started sweating just reading it. Ned offers this further analysis of the issues. He raises two questions in the last paragraph. My short answers to those questions are the following:

1. No.

2. Badly.

You can judge for yourself if the essay portion of my election law final exam (I don't release the multiple choice part) is easier or more difficult to answer.

UPDATE: Ned assures me that this was a two-week take home final, rather than an in-class one. I'll come off that ledge now.
