von Spakovsky Update

More evidence Republicans are ready to give up on von Spakovsky: "The White House and Senate Republicans have hinted for the first time that they may be willing to back off their insistence on approval of a controversial Federal Election Commission nominee at the center of a confirmation battle that has crippled the FEC."
