ACLU Wins Section 2 Voting Rights Act Claim in Martin, South Dakota

The opinion is here; the ACLU's press release is here. In preparing to testify and in hearing others' testimony this summer in the Voting Rights Act renewal hearings before Congress, I was struck by the extent to which we still see blatant intentional discrimination in voting in Indian Country.
