BNA's Money and Politics Report offers this story (paid subscription required), with the following summary: "Not a single local broadcaster rejected an ad sponsored by the MoveOn.org Voter Fund as a result of a letter sent by the Republican National Committee this month, which claimed that the ad was illegal because it was paid for by so-called soft money."
