The Supplement, which sees the addition of new co-author Dan Tokaji, is up-to-date, and includes an edited version of FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life and updates on voter identification law controversies. It also includes material covered by the 2006 supplement (renewal of the Voting Rights Act, LULAC v. Perry (the Supreme Court’s recent Texas redistricting case) and Randall v. Sorrell (the Supreme Court’s Vermont campaign finance case)).
The cover of the Supplement reads: “Permission is hereby granted to instructors assigning the Lowenstein & Hasen casebook to distribute this Supplement free of charge to students who have purchased the casebook. All other redistribution is prohibited without the permission of the authors.”
